Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce 5 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals in floor and team competitions, as well as a bronze medal for the balance beam. In 2012 she was the very first American athlete to win the most number of medals in the Olympics. In 2016, the Olympics brought her the gold medal in the team event. This earned Gabby and Gabby the honor of being the only Americans to ever win consecutive gold medals for a team. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals in both the all-around individual as well as floor workouts. Between the two Olympics she took an absence from competitive gymnastics for 3 years. Additionally, she was among the gold-winning American squads at the two World Championships. She began learning gymnastics when she was two and her most favorite sport is floor workouts. Aly is a member of her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation as a designer. The next goal she has is growing her collection of leotards. The book she is working on is titled Fierce that will be released at the end of this year.
